Frankie Mini Scrapbook Tutorial
To start, you will need:
- 2 4×4 Chipboard Coasters
- 1 piece Old Olive Card Stock (4″x4″)
- 3 Pieces Lovely Lilac Card Stock (4″x4″)
- Extra Pieces of Card Stock for [ages (4″x4″)
- Corner Rounder Punch
- Crop-a-Dile
- Old Olive Classic Stamp Pad
- Stampin’ Sponges
- Anywhere Glue Stick
- SNAIL adhesive
- Bone Folder
- 1 1/4″ and 1″ Circle Punches
- Sharp Scissors
- Dimensionals
- Black Stampin’ Write Journaler
- Book Ring
- Pictures
Step 1: Using Corner Rounder Punch, round corners of the following pieces of Card Stock:
- 3 Lovely Lilac (4″x4″)
- 1 Old Olive (4″x4″)
STEP 2: With Anywhere Glue Stick, cover entire surface of chipboard coaster with adhesive.
STEP 3: Adhere your 4 card stock pieces,one at a time, to front and back of both coasters. When done you should have one coaster with Lovely Lilac on each side and one coaster with Lovely Lilac on one side and Old Olive on the other side.
Tip: Use your bone folder to burnish the card stock onto the coaster. Start from the middle out. This will get rid of any air bubbles.
STEP 4: Punch circles for parts of the face as follows:
- 2 Old Olive Circles with 1 1/4″ circle punch.
- 2 Whisper White Circles with 1 1/4″ circle punch
- 2 Black Circles with 1″ Circle Punch
STEP 5: Cut each Old Olive Circle in Half with Paper Snips. You will need 3 half circles.
STEP 6: Sponge edges of Old Olive side of chipboard coaster with Old Olive Classic Ink.
STEP 7: Sponge edges of Old Olive half circles with Old Olive Classic Ink.
STEP 8: Cut triangles out of 4″x2″ piece of Lovely Lilac Card Stock, to make hair. Then Round the Top Corners with Corner Rounder Punch.
STEP 9: Adhere Black Circles over White Circles. Add 1 dimensional to the back of the eyes, nose, and eyelids and adhere to Old Olive Coaster as viewed in picture to the right.
STEP 10: Adhere hair, as shown, using SNAIL adhesive.
STEP 11: Add a mouth and scar with a Black Stampin’ Write Journaler. Add a few extra card stock pages in the middle for your pictures.
The Crop-a-Dile was used to create the hole in the corner, and a book ring was used to hold them all together.
