The Retirement List Is Here!

The Stampin’ Up! retired list was released on December 1st. If you have not seen this list yet, you can view it online. There are two different ways to view the list:

1. Alphabetical order – this list is great if you are looking up a specific stamp set.
2. Numerical order- This list is organized by page number. It is better for someone like me, I like to look at each set that is retiring. This way I can look at each retiring stamp set throughout the catalog to decide which ones I NEED to buy before they are gone forever!!

I must say, the retiring list is much smaller now that the catalog is semi-annual. I am only losing 10 stamp sets. The problem seems to be trying to scale down the large list of retiring stamp sets that I want to purchase before they are gone!

Here is a card I designed recently for a Christmas Stamp A Stack using Holiday Tag Team, which will retire after this month. I absolutely love how this card turned out. There aren’t any special techniques involved. If you can color with markers you are good to go! LOL! I wanted to use the Hodgepodge Hardware with Black Grosgrain to make Santa’s belt. I didn’t have enough grosgrain, so I improvised and cut strips of black cardstock that would fit through the Hardware.

• Stamps: Holiday Tag Team, Warm Words, Many Merry Messages (inside)
• Ink: Basic Black Classic Stamp Pad. Real Red, Garden Green, Summer Sun and Blush Blossom Stampin’ Write Markers. Black Journaler
• Paper: Real Read, Whisper White, Basic Black
• Accessories: Hodgepodge Hardware, SNAIL, Bone Folder
