Holiday Weekend and Some Time Off!
ByI just wanted to send a quick post to let you all know that I am taking a few more days off. I wasn’t able to post all week because my “New” laptop was getting repaired. They had to replace the motherboard and everything! That was finally completed yesterday afternoon. But, you are never going to believe the day I had yesterday! With everything that happened it felt like a week, not a day. It is so ridiculous I have to tell you!
My oldest daughter Kaitlin woke up with Poison Ivy all over her face to the point that both eyes were almost swollen shut. So, I had to bring her to the doctor after bringing Emma to school. My husband is home with the computer guy who is fixing my laptop. The doctor gave her Prednisone and we left the office to go home and pick up Emma. On the way home my car died. On the Mass Turnpike, no less! Not only on the pike, but smack dab in the middle of the entrance to the service center, where hundreds of cars are trying to get off the pike fo gas and food. And do you think anyone stopped to try and help me move the car? NOT ONE!! I thought we were going to get hit, but everyone managed to get around us. SO, my husband has to go pick up Emma, calls a towing company, and he meets us at the car dealership. Then on the way home we find out his grandfather is in the hospital. We get home and everything seems OK. Then…Before bedtime I turned on the desktop computer for my kids to play for a little while and I have a computer virus!!! Do you believe it? Well, it gets better. I have to call NORTON and pay $99 for them to remove the virus. Several different people worked on my computer from 7:30 PM-2:00AM. Then I went to bed thinking everything is OK. WRONG. The virus is back in the morning when I run a scan on the computer. Several more people worked on my computer until 6PM tonight and finally the virus is gone!! But, needless to say I am ALL DONE with both computers for a couple of days!! I don’t even want to look at a computer right now! I think I am just going to go do a little stamping therapy.
Oh and the links for the mini scrapbook class above are not working, so until Tuesday when I get back on the computer again to fix that, you can email meto register for the class locally and for the class to go.
Thank you for your understanding! Enjoy the beautiful weather and have a wonderful holiday weekend!
Happy Stamping!
