Erin’s (my sister-in-law) wedding was last weekend, and everything about it was so beautiful! The kids had a wonderful time, we had a wonderful time, the whole family was together. It did rain all day, but everything else was so wonderful we hardly noticed the rain.

Erin was the first Bride in history to be early for everything! She was early to get dressed, pictures were done early, we arrived at the church 15 minutes early, at the reception 45 minutes early, and started the reception early!! I have to say that made for a very relaxing day for everyone. I really appreciated that with having the three kids there. I snapped the picture of Emma and Kevin in the doorway. Kevin was watching the rain and Em was watching Auntie Erin have her pictures taken.

The kids were so well behaved, everyone noticed. Kevin wasn’t very crazy about being in the monkey suit at first, but by the time we got to the church he got over it. He wouldn’t take any pictures for the photographer before the ceremony, and as you can see he wouldn’t take any for me in the limo either. LOL!

I didn’t get any pictures of the ceremony because we were all in the wedding. But trust me the ceremony was beautiful. The kids truly enjoyed the limo ride. We let them drink water out of the champagne glasses for the toast! Kaitlin was in charge of handing out the champagne glasses.

Kevin fell asleep as soon as we drove up to the Reception. I mean his eyelids closed at the exact same time someone said “We’re here!”

I usually take a ton of pictures at family weddings, but I guess it makes a big difference when you have three kids and you are all in the wedding party. I did snap a good one of Erin with her dad. Sorry, none of the bride with the groom. I didn’t even get one of my husband, and he looked so great too! I can’t wait to see the pictures everyone else took.

The latest news on my computer is the motherboard fried a RAM chip. I realized that right before I left for vacation last week. We had the best family vacation we have ever had in Vermont at Smugglers Notch Resort! When I came back from Vermont two new RAM chips were installed and I reformatted the hard drive and reinstalled the operating system. So far everything is up and running with no serious problems. So, think happy thoughts for me because if I have to troubleshoot this computer one more time I think I will loose it!

As soon as I came back from vacation I created a card for this weeks Splitcoast color challenge. I am working on that post now so check back real soon!

However, if I spend another 10 seconds on this computer I think my husband will divorce me! LOL!

This whole Dell experience has been horrible. I spent hundreds of hours on the phone with technical support since March 30th, which is the day I received my computer!

I will create a post later this evening for all of you, so I can spend time with my family today. Check back tomorrow….I will have a NEW PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT for you. I will also try to get my pictures organized so I can post a project for you too!

I am sure you will see a lot more of me now that my computer works!

I have had an insane number of problems with my new Dell laptop from the moment I received it 2 months ago. Recently they sent me an external hard drive to back up my files, because the online backup (part of my warranty) didn’t work. Then I reformatted my hard drive, and put everything back on, which took me a total of 12 hours on the phone on Thursday! Now my email program doesn’t work right and freezes on me!! I spent an additional 5 hours on the phone last night with them offering to help me reformat my hard drive again!! I don’t know what is going to happen next?

If anyone has a personal connection with someone from DELL, please share that info with me!!

I have only had customer service as bad as this from Charter Communications, who I left for Verizon. I still don’t have a guarantee that they will replace my laptop even though there has been something wrong with it from the day I purchased it until now.

Anyway, sorry to ramble…I am just so upset about this! If you need to contact me I am reachable at 413-245-3030 anytime before 10PM EST. I cannot post pictures right now, because I am too nervous to take any pictures off my camera and add them to this computer. I am already receiving errors that my files are corrupted and some are missing!!

I strongly suggest to anyone thinking of buying a DELL computer in the future…DON’T.

I have loved my DELL’S in the past, but never had a problem with them. I guess as long as you don’t have a problem they are great. But, when you do have a problem they will blame it on everyone else to avoid actually offering the “exceptional customer service experience they claim to offer!!

I am definitely making formal complaints about this!

After taking my son out of the tub last night, he stubbed his toe and broke it! At first he didn’t want to go to the hospital, and I wasn’t going to push it…until I saw that his toe was now at a 90° angle from the rest of his foot! So he whined for a few minutes that he didn’t want to go to the hospital because there was nothing they could do. But, obviously, the toe needed to be reset so he gave in. My husband is one of those men that “don’t feel pain” and is a “man’s man”. So he drove himself to the hospital in his car, which is a standard shift, even though I told him to take my car which is automatic.

After he left I started to laugh…Right before he left I told him he needed ice on the toe. The only soft ice pack I could find was a “boo, boo, bear” from the kids. It fit perfectly in his sock. SO hear he was the tough man that didn’t need anyone to drive him to the hospital and the first thing the nurse/doctor was going to see was the “boo, boo, bear” in his sock!!! LOL! He said they got a kick out of that too!

Due to recent events, I haven’t had much time to stamp or blog! So, here is a card that I made back in March at a demo meeting. I absolutely love this card! It was my introduction to Sticky Cut Letters and Cosmo Glitter. I am waiting to see what colors are in the next catty, because Cosmo glitter is definitely on my wish list.

The Sparkly letter “h” is placed on Soft Sky card stock. “Happy Everything” is from the Fundamental Phrases stamp set, an is stamped in Blue Bayou Classic Ink. The Sky Blue Card stock layer is matted onto Blue Bayou Card stock and finally adhered to the Whisper White Card Base. Lastly, Blue Bayou Double-Stitched Ribbon is tied around the card front. Nice quick and simple card with a lot of bling! Trust me, pictures do not do this card justice, the glitter is gorgeous.

A few tips:The Sticky cut letters are just like Sticky Strip, and it can be hard to take off the backing at first. A bone folder can help pull back the backing. Also, I suggest adhering the letter to the card stock before adding the glitter. Once the letter is adhered to the card stock, take off the top layer and add glitter. Even though it may take a minute or two to take the backing off the letter, it is so worth it!

“Peaceful Wishes” is a favorite to many! I never thought this stamp set would retire, but it is. This sample was created by Sue Renner for a Christmas Swap.

The Valentine Set “Forever In My Heart” is going to retire as well. Here is a sample last year during Convention from Crystal Erzen. This is a quick and easy card and SO CUTE!!

• Ink: Purely Pomegranate, Wild Wasabi
• Paper: Purely Pomegranate, Wild Wasabi, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White
• Accessories: Pretty in Pink Grosgrain Ribbon, Scalloped Circle Punch, Paper Snips, Stampin’ Dimensionals

“Give Thanks” was a MUST HAVE for Thanksgiving! Last year I stamped on tiles with this set and made Thanksgiving Coasters for Craft Fairs and Gifts.

I stamped each image with StazOn. Then I used the Poppin’ Pastels Technique, believe it or not. I would start with the lightest colors first. Using the VersaMarker color in a section of your image. Pick the Pastel color of your choice and dab the pastel color into the VersaMark using a Sponge Dauber, Q-tip, or even a cotton ball. Finish coloring the entire image one color at a time. When you are done spray entire surface with an Acrylic Sealer (several coats).

Here is the last sample I have for this section. It was created by Barb Williams using the Give Thanks stamp set.
