The New Catalog is Here! Online Ordering Coming Soon…
Posted by: | CommentsYeah! I have placed my first deomonstrator order for the Fall-Winter Idea Book and Catalog!!! Wait until you see what I have ordered. I chose 2nd Day Air shipping so that everything will be in for my Hostess Cookout and New Catalog Open House, both this weekend!
I did stop posting Convention pics over the past few days because I was preparing for today!!! I can’t tell you how many times I rewrote my wish list!! I was so proud of myself at the start of Convention because I decided to only use the new stamp sets from Convention for now and get some new tools and some designer paper. Well, as Convention went on and NEW product announcements were made, I realized I was in BIG trouble!! LOL!There are so many things that I want from this new catalog.
There are some great NEW products that are going to be released between September and January. So check back over the next week to see what I am talking about! I will post a sneak peek on Friday of what is in my order that you will be able to order soon.
Sometime in the Fall you will be able to order products ONLINE 24/7!!! I have added a link to the new catalog in the sidebar to the right. This online catalog is not the same as previous and I am not quite sure if you will be able to view it right now. : ( It is a VERY LARGE pdf document, not an online catalog, so I have not been able to download the entire catalog yet. Sorry about that! But on the upside of that I have been told that the Technology Team at SU! is working very hard to get Online ordering up for you as quickly as possible! I will be calling Demonstrator Support tomorrow for more detailed information on this situation.
I am so excited about online ordering! This will make the ordering process a lot easier for everyone. I am also hoping that someday we will be able to take workshop orders this way as well. SO, if your friends cannot make it to a workshop, they can order from the online catalog whenever they have the time and it would be credited to your workshope sales. I will be plugging that idea tomorrow as well! I haven’t heard anything about those capabilities yet, but wouldn’t that be really cool!!
Since you may not be able to view the new catalog online I thought I would share pics of the NEW stamp sets we received FREE at Convention this year!!
Eastern Blooms
Flight of the Butterfly
Inspired by Nature
Want to see some pictures of the make-n-takes we made at Convention? Check back tomorrow, I am so tired my eyes are rolling in my head as I type…LOL!
Happy Stamping!
Convention Check-in Day Continued…

Yesterday I said I would post a picture of my new Stampin’ Up! messenger bag from Convention, so here it is…
Isn’t it beautiful? If you look closely, you will see Shelli’s signature. Yes, I did get a picture with her and I will spill all the details about that another day. : )
Our bags were filled with three new stamp sets that we used for our make-n-take projects, and our spiral bound Fall-Winter Catalog!! If I have not told you yet, the Designer paper and Simply Scrappin’ Kits are amazing. I was really worried when they retired every DSP and Scrappin’ Kit, but SU! really outdid themselves with what is offered in this catalog. I will not give away all the details, but I was most excited that there are several packages of DSP that are masculine designs!! I really think we needed that, Thanks SU!
Back to Convention… After Bag Pickup and Momento Mall I went on a tour of the Stampin’ Up! Riverton Campus. First of all let me just tell you that I would move to Utah in a heartbeat to work there!!! OMG, working for SU! has got to be the best job ever! Here I have a not so great picture of the waterfall in the entrance to the facility. This is were many employees take their breaks and have lunch. This shot was from up above, would have been better if I had a chance to go downstairs, but I didn’t have enough time.
There is also a creativity room. This room is for employees to hang out relax and explore there own creativity. I am sure they don’t spend the entire day in this room, probably just break time. However, the room is nicely furnished with over-sized bean bag chairs, a pool table, and ping pong table! There is also a cabinet set up with stamping supplies galore!
Check out this wall. I want you to think for a second at how this image makes you feel? When I walked into this room, this was the first wall I noticed. I felt calm, happy, secure, and inspired. I would love to go to work everyday and feel those emotions first thing! Shelli has created an amazing work environment, I wish my house was set up to evoke those emotions!! : )
The distribution center is just as immaculate as all other areas in this facility! Have you ever seen a warehouse as clean and clutter free as this!
The Legacy Room was the next stop on our self-guided tour. This room tells the history of Stampin’ Up! with some great pictures and stories over the last 20 years. There are a few pics I definitely want to show you! Here are some displays that were used to create pictures for various catalogs.
Recognize this picture? This was children’s platroom featured in a recent catalog.
This is the Tart-n-Tangy Room!
I want a bedroom like this one! Check out the Decor Elements!
Isn’t this the calmest baby room! I love the colors. And look at the designs up above…I am thinking this might be NEW Decor Elements coming soon. This is not definite, just my guess.
The Crew…Some of my friends! You guys rock! Tiz, Kathy, Barbara, Judy, and I.
There were other parts of the tour that the pics didn’t come out so well. Sorry guys! I hope you enjoyed visiting the Riverton Campus today!
Happy Stamping!
